When Ina reflects back on her life before RAW, she describes it as “easy but dangerous – you did what you wanted and took what you wanted”, and then RAW came along and helped her to become a productive, contributing member of society. “They taught me gratitude and that living a legal life is hard work.”
“Annah was like a parent that I never had. She was there for me, she cared for me and she believed in me in a way that no one had ever done before. For all that she has guided me through, I will always be grateful to her and her sister Rebecca for the life I have today.”
Today, Ina is living in Napier with her fifth child, and eagerly awaiting the arrival of two more of her daughters back into her full-time care. With relationships back on track with her children, and her mum, Ina is finally looking forward to becoming the sober, rolemodel parent that she now has the inner strength and aroha to be.
